Jean-Baptiste Courtier's surreal series 'Natation Synchronisée' is a mesmerising example of how an injection of oddity into an otherwise serene scene can make any landscape instantly more interesting. Based around the theme of synchronised swimming, the French photographer uses mannequin legs in order to create a subtle burst of intrigue into his shots for this series.
