Paws Up Camping at Blackfoot River

A large tent at Paws Up, Montana.

On the banks of the Blackfoot River in Montana – famous for inspiring the novel and film A River Runs Through It – sit luxury tents complete with electricity, deck, ensuite bathroom, housekeeping, and your own personal butler. The River Camp at Paws Up is camping at its best - definitely not as you know it. Rather than uncomfortable camp mats or deflating air beds and crouching down with a torch to try and find your clothes or sleeping bag, expect big, plush beds, full length mirrors, colourful woven Montana rugs and a tent you can actually stand up in.

The big, safari-style tents take inspiration from the beautiful natural surroundings, providing rustic elegance and comfort which complements the river, woodland and vast wilderness.

Wake up to views of the river before embarking on anything from horseback riding, fishing and hiking, to Badminton, Volleyball and Yoga, before settling down to s’mores around the bonfire and a night under the stars.
