If 2015 was the year of copper, 2016 is all about the use of black metal. Introduced by the industrial trend that has dominated the past decade, black metal accents provide a strong, unflashy element to any interior. More classic and timeless than other materials, black metal says effortless interior style quite unlike anything else.

Use black metal in subtle accents; a couple of pendant lights in the kitchen, for example, table legs with a concrete top, or candlesticks and vases. The good thing about black is it goes with any other colour, but this style works best with pared-back interiors and white or soft pastel shades.
