WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie was born from the need for luxurious yet practical accessories for everyday life, that are anything but everyday products. Always with technology in mind, each piece moulds into modern-day life to ensure your essentials are always secure.
Where are WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie based?
WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie is located on Rue Chabanel, an industrial warehouse-lined street in the heart of Montreal's fashion district, surrounded by several hundred other companies.
Head Office is hidden in a lonely concrete hallway behind a grey and uninspiring door; the entrance to an unexpected cavern of creativity and interest. The vacuous open, warehouse floor is divided into 'suites' where designers share the space working harmoniously under one roof.
Nestled in a corner, with just a stud wall as the only division there is a small space that completely encapsulates the essence of WANT. Inspiration, intrigue and product adorn every shelf, tabletop and ledge. The space feels welcoming and familiar within such a vast building.
A long rectangular table stands central within the room, shelves and drawers line the walls. At the back, facing the windows on the opposite side resides the desk. Papers, clippings and personal effects cover the surface. The WANT Head Office mirrors their design mantras, a functional and inspirational creative hub.
