A bridge and car park reflected in a puddle by Angela May Chen.

We’re in love with this surreal new series by San Francisco based photographer and designer Angela May Chen, where the cityscape is artfully captured in puddles of rainwater. Fragmented and abstract, the symmetry created is striking. At first, it’s difficult to decipher exactly what’s going on – but that’s half the fun! This new perspective means that once you study each image in detail, you begin to admire even the most banal of architectural details – from the house cladding to the sidewalk.
