Established in 2005 by creative director and founder Melissa Del Bono, meli melo represents aspirational luxury with a strong Italian heritage. Meli was an affectionate nickname for Melissa, with meli melo becoming both the brand's title and personality.

Having grown up on the beautiful Aeolian Island of Lipari, Melissa draws design inspiration from the large wicker baskets that the village women carry on a daily basis and envisioned a new design that would transform the way modern women carry their own bags. Melissa's Italian heritage remains at the core of the premium brand's design ethos, with all bags 'Made In Italy' using only the finest leather and craftmanship.

Unique in design and subtle in style, the meli melo collections are both relaxed and sophisticated. Their versatile qualities create the perfect everyday bag, whilst the careful manufacturing process ensures every bag is built to last.
