With the clocks going forward and a heatwave set to hit the UK mid-April, we can officially say spring is here. After what feels like a very long winter, we are now on the hunt for those key spring-summer investments.
Introducing the perfectly timed Barbour X House of Hackney capsule collection. Answering all of our wardrobe woes, the collaboration combines 127 years of heritage Barbour with House of Hackney’s infamous eclectic prints.
Cherished for their country roots and iconic wax jackets, Barbour this spring embarks on a new partnership with interior experts – House of Hackney. Celebrating their 10-year birthday, House of Hackney’s shared focus on timeless craftsmanship and quality has resulted in a match made in heaven.
Launching ten reinvented designs, featuring two print stories, the duo has taken Barbour’s signature silhouettes and injected vibrant new energy. The first, Flora Fantasia is an imaginary floral print based on a modern retelling of Fleurs de Fantaisie by J E Buchert, a very rare book of watercolour flower prints from the 1880s. This print is reworked in a patchwork style on the perfect full-length summer dress.
