Modelling for some of fashion’s finest on the side of his barbering career, Liam’s appreciation for style is incorporated into everything he does. Hitting the runway for one of Coggles favourite new menswear brands Martine Rose in her AW20 show, Liam has also featured in campaigns for JW Anderson and Gosha Rubchinskiy. His creative talents aren’t only limited to the runway as he works full time as a barber in Manchester. We asked Liam what inspires his look and how he’ll be styling his AW20 wardrobe.
My full time career is hairdressing and I do modelling on the side. I love keeping busy and doing both these things does exactly that. Doing hair is great for me because I can relate the styles I do to fashion! I enjoy modelling because it makes me happy meeting new people and travelling around for different jobs!
I love everything vintage. A lot of vintage pieces inspires what I wear. Old England eras inspire me most as I love the clothing and culture.
I chose what pieces looked best together and what I’d wear on a day to day basis, involving blazers with trousers and hoodies with jeans. Adding accessories that would fit with the outfit well and colours that would work also.
My top styling tip for AW20 is teaming trousers with boots and sweaters, layering is key. I’d advise a nice long jacket too. All autumnal colours for clothing always helps with fitting your style to the season!
