The brand was originally founded by Copenhagen gallerist Frans Truelsen in 2000, however, in 2009 it was then taken under management by Nicolaj and Ditte Reffstrup.
Ditte Reffstrup serves as the creative director and Nicolaj Reffstrup as the CEO.
