Reading My Body

Dmitry Morozov is the project of a Moscow media-artist, musician and engineer who specialises in creating DIY and circuit bent instruments for his own musical projects, as well as making instruments for other musicians and media artists.  Alongside his passion for creating instruments, Dmitry also creates audiovisual art-installations and runs lectures and workshops on the topic.

It's his latest project however that we find particularly fascinating, 'Reading My Body'. A sound controller that uses a tattoo as a musical score, it is in essence a musical hybrid. We're not fully convinced as to whether its going to overtake the violin any time soon, but an interesting concept all the same
