Autumn Winter Homeware Trends

As the seasons change, so do our preferences in creating a comforting and aesthetically pleasing living space. We thought we would check in with our Senior Homeware Buyer and take a closer look at the biggest Autumn Winter homeware trends for this year.

Le Creuset Kitchen

Cue Jen Hill - our Senior Homeware Buyer. Jen has carefully combed through this season's homeware trends to create the concise and thoughtful Coggles Autumn Winter homeware edit.

1# Coloured Glass

This season, we’ve seen the rise of coloured glass with brands experimenting with it within their ornament and vase collections. These allow you to elevate your living space by adding boosts of colour into neutral settings.

Coloured glass is everywhere this season and is a lovely way to add interest to your table and instantly create a unique look and feel. Try the Ferm Living Ripple Smoke range for a sophisticated vibe, or HAY or FAZEEK for something livelier.

2# Vintage Patterns

70s interior décor is back and comes with laidback styling, natural materials, and earthy tones. This type of decor style is relaxed and fun, allowing you to be free-spirited with how you experiment with 70s-inspired décor.

The 70’s are definitely making a comeback and we are seeing this in both colour and material. Retro florals are also back, the Autumn Winter Ferm Living collection showcases this perfectly.

3# Bright Colours

As much as we’re loving the neutral interior vibe, colourful interior is a massive trend for this season. With the likes of greens, pinks and reds being used to create a playful energy in your living space.

Brights aren’t just for Spring and Summer, they are a lovely way to boost your room in the winter too. Greens and pinks work particularly well together, creating a clean and fresh feel. Of course, team with colour glass too.

4# The “Slow Living” Trend

Our homes have become our sanctuary in the past few years, which is why the “slow living” trend has become vastly popular. With this trend, it’s not about how “Instagram-worthy” your space is, but more so how it works for you for your practicality, enjoyment and mindfulness.

Greys are finally moving aside, making way for creams and neutrals. This season, we’ve bought into varying shades of neutral that complement each other. Mixing tones and texture will add depth to any room.

5# Festive Fragrance Notes

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and a way to make your home even more special is by filling it with seasonal scents but keep it subtle using carefully crafted combinations of scents that evoke the season.

With Christmas around the corner, now is the time to switch up your fragrance to something a bit more seasonal. Which is why we’ve bought into Skandinavisk's winter-scented candles.
