Tucked away in a courtyard off Portobello Market, Farm Girl Café is a slice of laid-back Australian café culture in the middle of Notting Hill.
Founded by Rose Mann – who grew up on an Australian dairy farm – and partner Anthony Hood in 2015, Farm Girl café has already made its mark on the London café scene, loved for its healthy and delicious food, fresh ingredients and refreshingly simple approach to clean eating.
With a menu that spans avocado on toast, buckwheat pancakes, ‘coconut bacon’ and extras like turmeric, bee pollen and cashew cream, this is a café that fully embraces the health food revolution in a way that’s comforting and unintimidating. Aside from the food, Farm Girl knows how to do great coffee. Try the Cold Drip, Lavender Latte or go for all things green with a kale, cucumber and avocado smoothie.
Inside, the café is all tiled walls, wooden floors, bowls of fruit and fresh flowers with a small courtyard right out the front. You’ll soon forget you’re in London and think you’re living Melbourne life in no time.
Farm Girl Café can be found at 59a Portobello Road, London, W11 3DB. To find out more, visit the café’s website.
