Architects shape our environment, creating the most iconic spaces and shaping city skylines around the world. Few of us however are lucky enough to have a world class architect design our own home, so there is something intrinsically intriguing about seeing how architects choose to shape their own spaces. This April in Milan at Salone del Mobile, there will be a special exhibition titled ‘Where Architects Live’, documenting the living quarters of today’s most influential architects. Amongst those included are Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield and Shigeru Ban.

Visiting the private home of eight world-renowned architects, Francesca Molteni of Molteni & C both filmed each space and interviewed the proud owner. The next Salone Del Mobile will be held 8-13 April 2014.
