Dating back to 1825, Clarks is a great British brand full of history with Clarks Originals being introduced in 1950 as a diffusion line from the heritage brand. No shoe has quite encapsulated that like the desert boot, which was inspired by a shoe found in Cairo’s Old Bazaar worn by Eighth Army officers. Nathan Clark redesigned the boot, introducing it to Britain and the States.
Clarks Originals takes those iconic designs from the Clarks back catalogue, incorporating individuality, creativity, authenticity and modern style into each one to create something new yet timeless. Whilst it also committed to using organic and recycled materials in some of its products too.
