ANCIENT GREEK SANDALS

Established in 2010 by Christina Martini and Nikolas Minoglou, Ancient Greek Sandals are handmade in Greece by craftsmen using traditional techniques.

Inspired by the Ancient Greek myth about a sandal maker on the island of Crete that made sandals for gods and goddesses and enriched them with magical powers, Ancient Greek Sandals are simple, comfortable and chemical-free. Pottery, jewellery and sculpture also influence the sandals’ designs, with wings, colourful leathers and metal detailing all adding a contemporary edge.
