Benoit Courti

A former music composer, Benoit Courti has created a portfolio of photos that have an almost lyrical feel. A professional portrait and art photographer since 2010, the Paris-based creative has made a beautiful series called 'Deep Black', creating stunning black and white photographs.

While some of these photos appear light and playful, others convey a strong and deep sense of emotional heaviness that can't be denied. Courti explains that the series was motivated by: 'Illuminating simple subjects, minimal compositions whilst preserving a strong expressiveness'.
