Working From Home | Q&A with GANNI

As we approach our second stint in lockdown we find ourselves still taking an office holiday. With the UK's workforce continuing to work from their DIY office set up we wanted to get a better insight into how some of our favourite brands are operating from their homes. We spoke to one of our favourite Scandi brands Ganni, for a chat with Rosie Metcalfe, Ganni's Editorial Brand Copy Manager about how she's managing the new normal.

Rosie Metcalfe - Ganni

#1 What is your normal working from home routine?

I get up, make a coffee, shower and get dressed. I'll grab something quick for breakfast while looking at my diary. Then I'll sit down to start going through my emails, it's so important to still have a routine.

#2 What is your current working from home style?

At first, comfort was key so I was dressing from the waist up and wearing sweatpants but now I'm really enjoying dressing up. I'm wearing more dresses, like this silk tiger print dress I was saving for a friend's wedding.

#3 What's your favourite thing about working from home?

I've recently gotten into running more which is sooo not usually me but an afternoon run gives me a change of scenery, a great playlist, and much needed fresh air.

#4 What's your least favourite thing about working from home?

Not seeing my team in person - even though I speak to them probably more than ever, I really miss them. And everyone else too like my family up in Manchester!

#5 Where are you currently working?

My #GANNIWFH setup is my living room dining table, opposite my boyfriend. He's an architect and takes up a lot of space so I usually end up working from the sofa.
