raawii was established in 2017 by innovative founders Bo Raahauge Rasmussen and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen. The brand name derives from the first initials of the creators surnames ‘raa’ and ‘wii’ to form raawii. Their design philosophy is to challenge the status quo of design through curiosity and aim to turn creative ideas into enduring objects with a functional purpose. raawii’s focus is to ensure each piece provides a positive impact to the consumer whilst being mindful of the environment, which they thoughtfully refer to as ‘’modernism with heart’’. With intricate craftsmanship and products designed to be handed down from generation to generation, raawii ceramics have a conscious production and distribution lifecycle.
