Pure porcelain box with lid trimmed in gold and embellished with a pinecone-shaped knob. The box, with a diameter of 13cm / 5.1 inches is crafted and decorated entirely by hand. It can be used as an interior decoration and object holder.
In the Californian confusion of the wooden hut surrounded by pines, among the various objects is one that catches the eye more than others. A porcelain box, its lid edged in gold and with a pommel in the shape of a pine cone. Who knows what it might have contained.
The box is one of five precious Luchino's Souvenirs. A uniquely designed piece of art, it is a memento of English designer Luke Edward Hall's imaginary trip to Rain Rock Creek: the fantastic wooden bungalow located in Big Sur, one of the artist's favourite destinations.
