Touch Countrols 

Touch sensor is integrated into the ear cup which allows you to  control music (Skip track, previous track, play pause), volume and  answer to calls. Ambience control mode can be also chosen  through the touch control. 

Noise Reduction mode 
Audio-Technica’s feedforward technology is used where the  microphones to analyse environment sound is positioned outside of the  ear cup. The noise reduction mode is to understand as an additional  feature to upgrade your music experience in silence without sound  degradation.

Hear Through Function 
Next to the noise reduction functionality, the ATH-SR50BT works also  into the opposite direction. Activate Hear Through and you can listen  to music while still able to percept what’s going. The microphones pick  up the environmental sound that you can still hear the outside. 

Quick Hear Through Function 

Different to the above mentioned Hear Through Function, this “Quick”- Version allows users to let the ambient noise in which is comfortable  in situation like, quick answer to the cashier or if you need to listen  intuitively to something without the need to take your headphones off.  The volume of the current playing music will be reduced significantly.  The ambient sound setting is focused on human voices. A physical  On/Off Switch is implemented for an instant access to activate this function.
