This striking silk dress takes inspiration from decades gone by, then puts different styles together to make a look that is totally modern. The Isabel Marant Étoile Women's Yescott Dress in Black has a high neckline that, rather than being stiff against the face, flops gently, in a manner reminiscent of an Elizabethan ruff. The ruching at the base of this neckpiece is echoed in the long ruched cuffs that finish the slightly bell-shaped sleeves, and the gathered waistline. The asymmetric skirt is midi length, going from just under the knee at its highest point to halfway down the calf at its lowest. A small keyhole opening at the top of the back of the dress reveals a sliver of skin under the luxurious black silk.
