In 1948, Giuseppe Marenzi set out to create the ultimate raincoat. Based on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Marenzi tapped into the demand for weather-resistant coats and created Herno, all while ensuring classic Italian style was at the heart of each piece.

Herno soon expanded its luxury outerwear offering to quilted and padded jackets and coats as well as its original raincoats, all designed to protect against the elements.
