Her great contribution to British fashion was recognised in 2006, when she was awarded an OBE by her Majesty the Queen. Many of her pieces have become highly sought after collectible items and The Florist Basket and The Violet Hanging Basket are just two of the designs, which have been included in a permanent fashion collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The brand, Lulu Guinness came to life in 1989, when Lulu’s first handbag designs were sold through Liberty’s in London, and she remains true to the original philosophy of helping glamorous girls across the world in their mission to be suited from head to toe.
