Distinguished German watchmakers, Junghans, created a series of watches inspired by the extraordinary Swiss architect, sculptor and product designer Max Bill. Studying at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Max Bill first designed minimal watches for Junghans back in 1956 and the designs are produced in a virtually unchanged form today.
Made with great attention to detail in Germany, the Max Bill watch is designed with a round, silver-tone stainless steel case and a brown calfskin leather strap with a stainless steel buckle. The minimal white face is detailed with the signature logo to the centre, numeral markers and a date window. Each matte minute and track hand is treated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance for increased visibility in the dark.
Functioning on a J645.33 quartz movement, the watch face is housed in a convex hard plexiglass with a scratch resistant coating for increased durability. Complete with a branded presentation box.
