There is no finer pair of words in the English language than ‘pie night’. Fact. These words conjure up joy and delight on the faces of the staff here at Coggles and we bow down to restaurants who embrace the pie and make it extraordinary.
Sheffield based restaurant Silversmiths is one of these glorious places, where every Tuesday you can choose from at least four pies (including a vegetarian options, gluten free options are available too if you order in advance) with a side of mash or chips and mushy peas. Music to our ears.
Silversmiths is a family run business focusing on entirely local produce, with 100% of their suppliers based in Yorkshire, offering a purely field to plate experience. Based in the historic Cutlery Works in Sheffield City Centre, it’s only a stones throw away from theatres and offers a truly Yorkshire dining experience.
Reinvented by Gordon Ramsey in 2009, Silversmiths has transformed into one of our must-visit eateries in Sheffield.
For further information, check out their website here. Or visit them in person, preferably on a Tuesday for a slice or two of pie.
