Copenhagen Fashion Week SS25 Roundup
It is our favourite week on the fashion industry calendar: Copenhagen Fashion Week. This year’s SS25 shows were a hit, featuring an incredible week of inspiring designs, iconic Scandi fashion, and breath-taking locations.
Here is a breakdown of the most joy-inducing moments of Copenhagen Fashion Week with our expert opinions of the collections.
Copenhagen Fashion Week Shows
Rotate SS25 Collection
Heavily infused with ‘20s aesthetics, the Rotate SS25 collection embodied the true spit of sequin and fringy-heavy details, but with a modern edge. The designers, Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Madsen, took us back to the original “party girl,” allowing us to close the end of Copenhagen Fashion Week with a dream-like finish.
From mesh dresses and floor-sweeping silhouettes to asymmetric ruffles and art deco sequined florals, the Rotate SS25 collection provided real showstoppers.
Baum und Pferdgarten SS25 Collection
Making a statement with Wes Anderson’s Margot Tenenbaum to a nautical take on a traditional Copenhagen fashionista, this year, Baum und Pferdgarten created a sports-infused collection for this year's Copenhagen Fashion Week. Taking inspiration from the elite 2024 Paris Olympics, the show took place at the blue running track at Østerbro Stadium.
Despite having a sportswear focus, the Baum und Pferdgarten SS25 collection added a contrasting element of office wear, with classic crisp white shirts and pleated skirts.
Stine Goya SS25 Collection
Outside of Copenhagen Fashion Week shows, Stine Goya hosted an intimate walk-through of the collection at their Copenhagen HQ. The event was led by the brand’s manifesto...
“Colours have always been at the core of my creativity. They define me as a designer and, in many ways, as a person… Colours are a palette of expression a tool to communicate and create interaction and individuality.”
From handpainted print tea dresses and blurred floral photo prints to blush pink shirts and periwinkle bow bags.
OpéraSport SS25 Collection
Facing the bay in Operaparken, this year’s OpéraSport SS25 collection did not disappoint, from signature frills and recycled fabrics to ruching and scrunched bags. The OpéraSport SS25 show showcased their distinct DNA with their traditional silhouettes, but displayed quilted prints, embroidery, and a floral colour palette in keeping with the collection’s theme.
The co-founders Stephanie Gundelach and Awa Malina Stelter started the process of creating this collection last year and wanted to create a collection which perfectly fused together nature and architecture.
Skall Studio SS25 Collection
This year, Skall Studio celebrated its 10th anniversary by creating a tribute to its signature silhouettes. From clean lines to feminine aesthetics, the collection provided a delicate colour palette and neutral prints. Creating the perfect balance of ultra-feminine and masculine.
Lovechild SS25 Collection
Encapsulating quiet luxury characteristics, the Lovechild collection for Copenhagen Fashion Week provided us with tailored and feminine Scandinavian pieces.
Originating from their 1979’s design philosophy, the founder Anne-Dorthe Larsen, wanted to provide a fresh take on classic dressing. This was executed with premium materials with impeccable craftsmanship.
