Introducing the AW18 Campaign

For AW18 we present the trends of the season, key wardrobe updates and our edit of the collections to know now. Introducing new brands such as Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Saks Potts and Stine Goya alongside the exciting new Coggles exclusives with The Volon and Toga Pulla.

The creative direction saw the juxtaposition of luxury fashion in a stark warehouse setting, following the trend for ‘real’ fashion.

Women

Neon

Neon might not be your first thought when picking an outfit from your wardrobe. But its eye popping qualities are quite the thing to change your look in a drastic, yet stylish way. Dipping your toes in would be the easiest way to start. This Christopher Kane cardigan has flashes of neon pink to brighten your day. Feeling more confident with colour? Team neon with neutrals to be ahead of the game.

Tailored Leather

Leather ruled the runways for AW18. From belted coats in buttery soft leather to dresses, and skirts. The easiest update was the new leather trouser. A fusion of classic leather with a refined cut and shaping definition. This red pair from Philosophy Di lorenzo Serafini comprise a complimentary balance between eye-popping and striking sophistication. This turn to tailored leather signals a direction to minimalist fashion, offering a simpler shape.

Checks and Plaid

Checks and plaid have an affiliation with the winter seasons, which might have something to do with their Scottish heritage, but whether they’re in design for sweaters or dresses, we are happy about it. MSGM have combined the two, creating a the ultimate sweater dress with block colours, check, plaid and frilling.

Men

Utility

It was clear during the AW18 shows that there was a utilitarian theme approaching this season with a focus on functionality. In a navy shade, this varsity jacket with a nautical twist paired with the workwear inspired shirt from JW Anderson ticks the boxes for this trend.

Retro Sports

Nineties nostalgia hit the runway for AW18 featuring tracksuits and the iconic bucket hats. With retro inspiration, Maison Margiela have designed a refined look on the classic tracksuit utilising a neutral palette.

Tailored

From double breasted styles to pin striped designs, tailored fits are a favourite this AW18. Relaxed shapes are perfect for day, worn with a statement shirt or layered with a sports jacket. AMI’s impeccably cut navy wool blazer is our must have this season.
