The highly anticipated collaboration between Lotta Volkova and one of the biggest sports symbols in the world has arrived. The adidas x Lotta Volkova collaboration sees an exciting combination of adidas’ sporting heritage and Lotta’s uncompromising vision in a range of footwear, ready-to-wear and accessories.
Since taking a sidestep from designing to a career in styling, Lotta Volkova has showcased her talent for casting, managing runways and product development for some of the biggest luxury brands on the market. With a career working as the in-house stylist for both Vetements and Balenciaga, she’s a key figure of the industry. The Lotta Volkova x adidas collaboration features a range of bright and vintage-inspired designs from the 70’s and 00’s adidas archives. The ready-to-wear collection features a range of asymmetric tops, two piece tracksuits, a windbreaker, boilersuits, high rise swimsuits and ice-skating-inspired dresses. The collaboration also sees a range of vintage-inspired accessories and footwear including pink table tennis handbag and leg warmers.
From adidas to Kanye West, Volkova has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business. At the age of 17 Lotta moved from her hometown of Novosibirsk in Russia to study at Central Saint Martins in London. Not only launched her own brand which was stocked in Dover Street Market but going on to run some of the most high-profile runway shows. The collaboration between Lotta and adidas is inspired by adidas’ heritage and is a clear demonstration of how she has reshaped the definition of fashion through the years.
