Named after a song by The Jam, Liam Gallagher’s ‘Pretty Green’ label may be less than a year old but it’s already making a big impact in men’s fashion. Designed by the singer in tandem with Nick Holland from Holland Esquire, the label fully rejects the ‘skinny jeans’look in favour of a classic aesthetic reflecting Liam’s style (and of course that of his fans). Pretty Green is an entirely limited edition collection comprising denim, knitwear, t-shirts, outerwear, footwear and accessories. As Liam himself says, “Clothes and music are my passion. I'm not here to rip anyone off and I'm not doing it for the money either. I'm doing it cuz there's a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear.” The simplicity of this mission is translated into the designs; it’s not about fashion, it’s about making top quality clothes that look great and have a timeless appeal.
