New to Coggles this season, Antipodium is a quirky combination of subverted silhouettes, tongue-in-cheek prints and confident simplicity. Led by creative director Geoffrey.J.Finch and launched in 2006, Antipodium offers a timeless collection of sartorial delights that are witty, rich in texture and unapologetically seductive.
Antipodium's SS12 collection, named 'Found Love in a Graveyard', not only highlights Finch's great design ability but also invites us to expect the unexpected.
Perfect androgyny is achieved in Antipodium's ‘Weddings, Wakes, Anything' black silk shirt, where feminine French seams, a delicately curved hem and sheer silk organza are offset against opaque masculine fastenings and an angular patent collar.
Antipodium's 'Graver' coat is another highlight of the collection, both oversized and hugely tactile, it is detailed right down to the piped orange seams that are set against the coat's black lining.
