Ryan McGinley’s Entrance Romance has been doing the rounds for a while now but we’re posting it nevertheless in case you missed it.

Ryan McGinley is best known for his photography but here the action is filmed, capturing Californian model Carolyn Murphy turning a can of WD40 into a flame thrower, passionately kissing a dog and smiling serenely as a bowl of goldfish crashes over her head. Shot on a Phantom camera at over 1000 frames per second, every murmur of emotion is captured, but the end result is less disturbing than it sounds, with Carolyn’s remarkable calm, the meditative soundtrack, and luminous lighting in total contrast to the otherwise dark and dramatic action.
