Paul Smith PS for Spring/Summer 2010 takes inspiration from the early colour photography of Albert Kahn, who in 1909 commissioned photographers to travel the world photographing landmarks and locals, the results of which are published as “The Wonderful World of Albert Kahn: Colour Photographs from a Lost Age”.

Classic neutrals are combined with tones of green pink and blue. Clothes are lightweight cotton and wool blends, silk mixes and linens.

The slim silhouette continues. Jackets feature sateen accents and grosgrain trims. Trousers are either slim and flat fronted or pleated with a slightly wider leg.

Details on shits include pleats, embroidery and a new rounded collar shape. Prints are a mixture of vintage florals and geometric shapes. Colourful knitwear and t-shirt prints complete the bohemian global traveller theme of the Paul Smith PS Spring/Summer '10 collection.
