Norwegian Rain

Norwegian Rain was born and raised in the rainiest city in Europe. Bergen, on average, receives 89 inches of rain each year. Indeed, between 29th October 2006 and 21st January 2007, rain fell every day – that’s 85 consecutive days.

With this in mind, Norwegian Rain was founded by Alexander Helle in a bid to make his life in Bergen dry and comfortable. Marrying hi-tech recyclable fabrics with seam sealing techniques from the extreme rainwear industry – Norwegian Rain coats and jackets represent some of the highest level of weather protection available, while traditional tailoring, a clean aesthetic, and draping that references the purity of Japanese dressing ensures an elegant and understated appeal for each of the limited edition and numbered pieces that comprise Norwegian Rain collections.
