PARAJUMPERS

Parajumpers – New Arches, mens slim fit, olive hooded parka from the Midseason Lightweight Series, with a removable down filled liner. The peaked hood features a detachable faux shearling lining, adjustable drawstring pulls and a parachute clip fastening. The main coat features a concealed two way zip, press stud and button fastening, two flap closure chest pockets, two deep zipped chest pockets, concealed zip placket pocket, underarm vents and two flap closure hip pockets with press stud fastening. The sleeves feature a detachable Parajumpers ‘That Others May Live’ patch and a small zipped sleeve pocket. To the rear the jacket features a central press stud tab, hang loop and large mesh lined pocket with exposed zip fastening. Internally the jacket features a removable down and feather quilted lining and two orange trimmed pockets.

The men of the 210th Rescue Squadron, based in Anchorage, Alaska, are highly trained for extreme rescues and recoveries in the wildest, most remote and hostile corners of the Globe. Whether it be ships adrift at sea, rock climbers stuck atop a 4,000 meter peak, or submariners sunk at unimaginable depths, these men are called to intervene.

They are PJs – Short for PARAJUMPERS. Tough and courageous, they are better trained than any military corps, but most important, they use their skills and techniques to save lives. Their motto is: “that others may live”. Gobi… Denali… Kodiak… These are the names of the legendary missions of these hero’s, to whom Parajumpers dedicate their jackets.
