NORSE PROJECTS
Two Raw Denim Jeans
Norse Projects - Two, mens slim straight raw indigo denim jeans with a white selvedge and contrast stitching. The five pocket jeans also feature embossed metal rivets, a button fly and clean rear pockets.
The selvedge (British English) or selvage (US English) is the white woven edge on both edges of the fabric width, which prevents unravelling or fraying and is a result of how the fabric is created. Traditionally white, the selvedge has been adapted more recently to create unique signature colours for specific, prestigious denim brands. In woven fabric, the selvedge is the edge that runs parallel to the warp (the longitudinal threads that run the entire length of the fabric), and is created by the weft thread looping back at the end of each row.
Traditionally an old 29-inch shuttle loom was used.
The terms selvedge and selvage are a corruption of "self-edge", and have been in use since the 16th century.
