Nigel Cabourn Authentic Line – Aircraft Jacket, mens unlined aircraft jacket in orange sand oil cloth cotton. The oil cloth cotton is coated in real refined oil, a process originally developed for the British Fisherman, who used the fabric for its water repellency against the harsh British seas. The jacket features a peaked drawstring hood with fisherman knot pulls and a press stud fastening for wearing the hood rolled back, high press stud collar, non slip buttons, concealed two way zip fastening and a drawstring hem with fisherman knot pulls. Other details include raglan sleeves, slanted hip pockets, underarm eyelet vents and an adjustable press stud cuff.

The Authentic Line is a unique collection consisting of original clothes inspired by Nigel’s archival pieces from the 1940’s and 1950’s. His personal collection of vintage garments is now made up of over 3000 rare pieces. The garments are made in the UK from British fabrics in the same mills that have been manufacturing materials for the British military for the last 65 years.
