D&G - Dolce & Gabbana David silk printed dress with an elasticated neckline, fitted bodice with reverse darting and French seams. The dress is silk lined and also features an exposed rear zip – sits below the knee.

The print is from the painting ‘The Loves of Paris and Helen’ by Jacques-Louis David, (b. 1748, Paris, d. 1825, Bruxelles) and was exhibited at the Salon of 1789. The painting was an important private work for the Count d'Artois, the king's dissolute brother and took two years to complete.
